August 30, 2017

Charlie Puth's rise to stardom may not have happened if not for his collaborations with some of today's BIGGEST artist and some MASSIVE hit songs. In part two of our EXCLUSIVE interview with the pop superstar, we asked the 26-year-old about collaborating with rapper Wiz Khalifa on "See You Again", Meghan Trainor on "Marvin Gaye", and Selena Gomez on "We Don't Talk Anymore."

In fact, Charlie told us that Wiz Khalifa will always have a special place in his heart. "That's the dude (Khalifa) that taught me how to perform," Charlie recalled when reliving a surreal experience backstage on the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

It sure sounds like Charlie took advice from the right guy because the video for their collaboration on "See You Again" just crossed the 3 billion view mark on YouTube.

Of course, the "Attention" singer has a special fondness for pop princesses Selena Gomez and Meghan Trainor as well. Charlie says Selena believed in "We Don't Talk Anymore" so much that she took a redeye to L.A. to record the track at 2:00 in the morning.

Check back in with us later this week for the third part of our EXCLUSIVE interview with Charlie Puth.
