All the Feels

All the Feels - August 4, 2016

Not all news is doom and gloom, so we want to give you the good news in our All the Feels segment.

August 4, 2016

If you’re an animal lover, PokemonGO player, or aspiring athlete, today’s segment of All the Feels might resonate especially strongly with you! A Scottish contestant of a 7-day Ultra-Marathon through China ended up leaving with more than a medal when a stray dog decided to join alongside on day two, and by the end of the race two were inseparable.

In Arizona, teenager with autism was tormented while playing PokemonGO, but after his sister shared his story the support from the community was overwhelming and fellow players invited him to go out hunting with them.

Finally, 2016 participating Olympic runner, Brenda Martinez, who couldn’t afford running shoes as a child has started a running camp for kids to give back.

Extremely blessed & Thankful to be giving back today #GivingTuesday Dec 1. I remember when I was young and my parents couldn't afford to buy me a new pair of running shoes. The shoes I wore to school were the same shoes I wore to practice. My father would always try to find running shoes on the clearance rack. I'm donating back to the sport that gave me a fighting chance in the world. I don't know where I would be if it wasn't for running. Today #GivingTuesday I want to take a little stress off the parents of the Boys & Girls XC teams at Big Bear High School by donating @newbalance running shoes. Think Globally, Act Locally! #nbgivesback #givingtuesday
