Lauren Graham Is Returning to TV... In Two Sitcoms

Lauren Graham is expected to make her return to television in two sitcoms this year, but neither of those roles will take Graham back to Stars Hallow (just yet).

Graham is said to have a starring role on a new family sitcom, Linda From HR. Graham will play the lead character, Linda Plugh. The character is an HR employee who apparently makes one bad decision that sends her professional and personal life into a dangerous tailspin. The show’s pilot has been ordered by 20th Century Fox Television, but the sitcom has not been officially picked up by a network just yet.

Apparently, that won’t be Graham’s only time on the silver screen this year. She is also expected to have a recurring role on the upcoming season of the HBO comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm. There aren’t too many details known about her Curb Your Enthusiasm role yet, as the show’s creator and star Larry David is pretty tight-lipped about the plot each season. But it does sound like Curb finished filming recently so we should find out by this fall.

Fans may be sad that there is not any news about Graham reprising her role as Lorelai Gilmore once again. At least.. not yet. Despite tons of speculation, there are o plans for any additional seasons of the Gilmore Girls on Netflix just yet.

Graham’s last full-time television gig, Parenthood, wrapped in 2015. Graham worked on the Netflix reboot of the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, which was released in November on Netflix.
